Terms of Use & Salon Policy Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms,” “Policies”) govern all appointments, services, purchases, and interactions at the Salon (“we,” “our,” “the stylist”). By booking an appointment, visiting the salon, or purchasing any product or service, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms in full.


1. Booking & Payments

1.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept Cash, debit/credit cards, Tap to Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, and Zelle.

1.2 Appointment Reservations
A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointments.

1.3 Deposits

  • A deposit is required for all color and chemical services, including online bookings.

  • Bridal and on-site styling require a consultation and deposit.
    Deposits are non-refundable and applied to the final balance.

1.4 Service Inclusions
All services include a signature cleanse and deep-conditioning treatment. Steam therapy may be provided as needed.

1.5 Age Requirement
Children receiving services must be 7 years or older.

1.6 Refunds & Service Concerns

  • No refunds or re-dos are offered once your visit has concluded.

  • Any concerns must be addressed before leaving the suite.

1.7 Discount Policy
A maximum discount of 20% may be applied to eligible services or products.


2. Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-Shows

2.1 Cancellation Notice
We kindly request 48 hours’ notice for canceling or modifying appointments.

2.2 Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service amount.

2.3 Late Arrivals
A 20-minute grace period is provided.
After 20 minutes:

  • Your service may be adjusted, or

  • The appointment may be canceled
    In either case, the full service amount may still be required.

2.4 Acceptable Cancellation Exceptions
Exceptions include:

  • Death in the family

  • Vehicle accident or verified car trouble en route

  • Sudden serious illness (flu, flu-like symptoms, COVID)

  • Acts of God

Documentation may be requested.


3. House Standards

To maintain a calm and refined environment:

  • No animals

  • No speakerphone use or disruptive meetings

  • One guest may accompany you

  • Outside products are not permitted unless prescribed

  • Low voices are appreciated; please respect shared spaces

  • Coats, bags, and personal items must be stored on designated hooks

  • Dress appropriately for salon services (avoid high collars and valuables)

Home-care products recommended by the stylist are strongly encouraged to maintain your results.


4. Fees & Additional Services

  • Prep & Detangle: $35 per 30 minutes for detangling, dematting, or protective-style removal

  • Early Morning / Off-Day Appointments: $75

  • Travel Services: $1 per mile × 2 (round trip)


5. Health & Safety

5.1 Client Wellness
Please reschedule if you are ill, symptomatic, or feeling unwell.

5.2 Service Restrictions
Clients with contagious conditions, scalp infections, or open skin cannot be serviced.

5.3 Stylist Discretion
The stylist reserves the right to decline or modify services if the hair or scalp is not in safe condition for chemical, heat, or mechanical processing. Strand tests may be required.


6. Color & Chemical Disclaimer

  • Desired results may require multiple sessions to maintain hair integrity.

  • Accurate results depend on full disclosure of previous chemical treatments, including box dye or henna.

  • Only approved or prescribed products should be used prior to chemical services.


7. Service Timing

All service times are estimates and may vary based on:

  • Hair length

  • Density

  • Condition

  • Service complexity

Specialty or corrective appointments may require extended or multiple sessions.


8. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their own belongings.
The salon is not liable for lost, damaged, or misplaced items.


9. Privacy & Imagery

  • Recording or photography is not permitted without permission.

  • The stylist may take photos or videos of your finished style for portfolio or marketing purposes.

  • If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the stylist before your service begins.


10. Guest Preparation

For color and chemical services:

  • Please arrive with hair free of oils or buildup unless otherwise instructed.

  • Protective styles must be removed prior to arrival unless a takedown service has been booked.


11. Physical & Digital Product Purchases

All sales are final.

  • Physical retail products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • Digital items (tutorials, guides, virtual content) are delivered instantly and are also non-refundable.

The stylist can assist you in selecting products that best support your hair’s health and longevity.


12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, visiting the salon, or purchasing any product or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.

13. Liability

13.1 Assumption of Risk

The Client acknowledges and agrees that all salon, cosmetic, chemical, thermal, and mechanical services inherently involve certain risks, including but not limited to: allergic reactions, irritation, chemical burns, breakage, shedding, scalp sensitivity, uneven color results, or unexpected outcomes due to prior hair history or underlying conditions. By receiving services, the Client voluntarily assumes all such risks.

13.2 Duty of Full Disclosure

The Client agrees to provide complete, truthful, and accurate information regarding:
(a) all prior chemical, color, or texture services (including box dye or henna);
(b) allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may impact services;
(c) medications, topical treatments, or products currently used;
(d) any conditions affecting the scalp, skin, hair, or general health.

The Salon shall bear no liability for adverse outcomes resulting from the Client’s failure to disclose accurate or complete information.

13.3 No Guarantee of Results

While the Salon will exercise reasonable skill and professional judgment in the performance of all services, no specific result is guaranteed. Variability in outcomes may occur based on the Client’s hair condition, prior treatment history, and adherence to professional home-care recommendations. Corrective services may require multiple sessions at the Client’s expense.

13.4 Right to Refuse or Modify Services

The Salon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, modify, delay, or discontinue any service if it determines that proceeding may compromise the Client’s safety, hair integrity, or the Salon’s professional standards. The Salon shall not be liable for any inconvenience, delay, or financial impact resulting from such decisions.

13.5 Reactions to Products and Treatments

The Salon uses products intended for professional use only. The Client acknowledges that adverse reactions may occur even with proper application. The Salon is not responsible for reactions caused by:
(a) undisclosed allergies or sensitivities;
(b) prior or subsequent use of non-professional or incompatible products;
(c) external factors outside the Salon’s control;
(d) failure to follow aftercare instructions.

13.6 Personal Injury and Property Damage

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Salon shall not be responsible for:
(a) injuries resulting from the Client’s failure to comply with Salon policies or stylist instructions;
(b) damage to clothing, accessories, or personal items;
(c) slips, trips, or injuries caused by inappropriate footwear or unsafe personal conduct.
Clients are advised to dress appropriately for salon services and secure their personal belongings.

13.7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Salon’s liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services or products shall be limited solely to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service or product at issue. In no event shall the Salon be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, emotional distress, or reputational harm.

13.8 Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Salon and its owners, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from the Client’s actions, omissions, failure to disclose relevant information, or misuse of Salon-recommended products.

13.9 Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or receiving any service, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Liability section and all other Salon policies.
